A credit union membership is yours for a lifetime. There are no limits or restrictions to where you work or live once you are a member. And, with the added convenience of the internet access, direct deposit, ATMs, debit cards, members can maintain immediate access to their accounts and financial needs from wherever they live or work.
Members control the financial institution. There is an equal opportunity for participation in setting policies and making decisions by each member.
Financial education and information is provided. Credit Unions provide education and training for members, elected representatives, managers and employees so they can contribute effectively to the development of the financial institution.
Community giving is a priority. Beyond focusing on the needs of its members, Credit Unions believe in social responsibility as a member of the local community. Giving back to the community through charitable donations as well as philanthropic activities is a core principle for every Credit Union.
